Past Presidents' Scholarship Application Instructions for 2019 NJLA Conference

Notification: week of April 28, 2019
To be considered for the scholarship, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be a new member of NJLA (July 1, 2018- June 30, 2019)
- Must have completed a minimum of 18 credits towards an MLIS
- Must submit an essay of application demonstrating interest in further commitment to NJLA and NJ Libraries
- Willing to commit to at least one overnight at the Conference in Atlantic City, and attend conference sessions and meal functions provided by the scholarship.
- Transportation to Atlantic City must be provided by the applicant.
- Volunteer at the conference for an hour or two to help with committee work.
The scholarship provides:
- Overnight room
- Registration
- Some Meals
- Opportunity to have a conference “buddy” for meals and events
