Children's Services Section Annual Report

We had a successful Conference line up.

Garden State Children's Book Award Committe was awarded to deserving authors in four differnt categories. GSCBA also planned a luncheon at conference that hosted Kwame Alexander's daugher with speaker Justina Ireland.

Books for Kids Committee distributed many books to children in need.

C-sponsored the Youth Services Forum on October 20.

The Summer Reading Committee put on 3 workships throuhgut the state which were well attended.

Performer's Showcase put on a wonderful showcase this year and began the transition of power from Diane Cann to Jessica Bauer.

Participation in meetings increased drastically from previous years. I was pleased to see that it doubled and at times tripled due to scheduling meetings to coincide with other NJLA events.
