Goals for Next Year:
Encourage executive action to implement new ways to pay for membership. Give members the option to pay monthly instead of paying in full. Suggest executive action for automatic renewal of membership. This action does not necessarily mean automatic invoices. Promote NJLA and its services to every Executive Director and consortia throughout the state. Member Services should take an active role in understanding members. Members needs and concerns should be reviewed through questionnaires, surveys, and feedback in order to expand membership. Member Services plans to expand on its understanding of members initiative by giving all members a platform to express their hopes and concerns for librarianship, libraries, and NJLA. Social programs/events will be promoted seasonally and under certain categories: mixer, family, and networking. All social programs/events require online registration through the NJLA website. After each program/event a survey or response will be requested from members about the activity and future programming.
