We Did It!

We did it! With 99% precincts reporting, the NJ Library Construction Bond Act has passed with 903,584 votes in favor. Approval of this legislation will result in $125 million in matching funds for capital projects at public libraries in New Jersey. This funding will have a tremendous impact on communities across our great state.

This could not have been done without the contributions of our supporters, residents who advocated on behalf of New Jersey public libraries and voted in favor of this bond issue, and the tireless work of our NJ Libraries Build Communities team. We should be proud today of our state’s commitment to public library service.
